Code Green: Climate Change
Few people are aware of the extraordinary impacts that climate change will have on health. Indeed, The Lancet heralded climate change as the "greatest global health threat of the 21st century."
In July 2009, for the first time, the Australian Medical Students' Association (AMSA) adopted formal policy on climate change. In doing so AMSA recognised the threat of climate change and the huge ramifications it holds for health. Visit AMSA online to view the:

Doctors for the Environment of Australia (DEA)
DEA aims to utilise the skills of members of the medical profession to address the ill health resulting from damage to the natural environment at local, national and global levels. It provides comprehensive resources on climate change and health, as well as opportunities to become involved through the DEA Student branch.
