The Fiji Village Project (FVP)
The Fiji Village Project (FVP) is an ANU initiative and is now in its fourth successful year. The project provides an opportunity to bring together medical students from across Australia to work together towards health empowerment in Fijian communities. Additionally, with involvement from New Zealand, Australian and South Pacific Islands students, the project has already proved to be valuable in developing more meaningful professional relationships in the region. It has thus far provided students across Australia with a wonderful chance to put their skills into practice in the real world. Most importantly, the project is great fun and joy for everyone involved, be it Fijian, New Zealand or Australian medical students.
